Safety Beams are the most common method of ensuring that your automatic gate does not inadvertently close on a car or person. Safety beams can be fully wired requiring wires to the transmitter and to the receiver or semi-wireless where only the receiver is wired to the gate motor. This means no wires are required across the driveway.
